Account Opening:
BO (Beneficiary Owner) Account must be opened to start off proceedings in a Broker House.
Investment:
To start purchasing shares, you must first deposit your money in the BO Account.
Trade Session:
Trading sessions are held daily from 10.30 AM - 2.30 PM. Trades can be made from Broker House or Online.
Trade Holiday:
Trade holidays correspond to the Bank holidays and trades cannot be executed on those days.
Share Maturity for Sell:
For Category A, B, G, N companies, maturity for sale is obtained on the 2nd working day after purchase of the share. For Category Z Companies, maturity for sale is attained on the 9th working day after purchase of share.
A Category Companies:
The companies which are regular in holding the current annual general meetings and have declared dividend at the rate of 10% or more in the last English calendar year are categorized under A Category.
B Category Companies:
The companies which are regular in holding the annual general meetings but have declared dividend below 10% in the last English calendar year are categorized under B Category.
G Category Companies (i.e. Greenfield Companies):
The companies which are newly listed and do not fall under any of the categories mentioned above or below are categorized under G Category and this category follows the settlement procedures of companies categorized under B Category.
N Category Companies:
All companies that have been newly listed except Greenfield Companies shall be categorized under N Category which will follow the settlement procedure followed for B Category Companies.
Z Category Companies:
The companies, which failed to hold the current annual general meetings or have failed to declare any dividend or have declared dividend but failed to pay it off within 60 days. |
